Cheers to a new year!

I'm liking this tradition I started last year. Ya know, count your blessings and such. I think we all get caught up in the day to day shizz that we forget how amazingly lucky we all are. I like to look back on what I did the last year, not to pat myself on the back, but just to show that even though I love sitting on the couch watching Bravo, I actually did shizz this year.

Crafty Roundup:
Copper Wine Charms to help you drink in style
Sea Shells on display, a great way to remember a great place!
Terrarium, embrace the fad
LIFE SIZE JENGA! (requires all caps, sorry)

The Loppet! The best Chilly Minnesota event.

Nom Nom Foods:
The best snack, ever, forever.

Exciting Shizz:
Graduating Grad School!!!!

What a great year 2013 has been! AMIRIGHT?! I can't wait for what is in store for 2014. Last year's post I included a few tangible goals...let's see if I've met my mark...

A few tangible goals that I have for this year (2013) include:
-Open an Etsy Shop  (Check!! Go there, buy things. Now.)
-Help someone who can never repay me (Lilian, a beautiful girl from Guatemala, is now being sponsored thanks to World Vision and my credit card.)
-Graduate and receive my Masters (BOOYAH!) No more school = let the loan payments commence!
-Begin watercoloring again (still need to uncover my brushes, they are buried...somewhere...hmm)
-Grow this dern blog (yeah, haha work in progress...)
-Publish something (Thesis for the win!)
-Prioritize my finances (DONE! but of course, always a work in progress!)
-Continue to build things and improve my carpentry skills (My tool chest is growing, and i'm not complaining!)

I would list a few tangible goals for next year, but i'm going to wait for next week's post for that one. You'll see why :)

I hope you all had a wonderful New Year's night and are recovering in front of a movie marathon somewhere. I know I am.

Cheers to a New Years errrone! And thanks for stopping by my piece of internets :)
